Our client, a world renowned private bank, has several recruits in Zürich on a
temporary basis ( min 6 months )
A Due Diligence Officer / Senior Due Diligence Officer
Purpose of role : conduct in depth due diligence reviews on CEE prospects and existing clients
His/her responsibilities:
• review and assess account applications for individuals and corporate entities from the CEE market to ensure that they are complete and accurate and that they comply with regulatory requirements and group standards
• undertake in-depth due diligence checks to verify information provided by the RMs and check for any negative information using an appropriate range of resources
• report findings clearly and objectively with a recommendation as to whether or not the requested accounts should be opened
• undertake periodic monitoring reviews of CEE accounts
• prepare detailed analysis and recommendation papers for the Due diligence Committee
Requirements:
• a legal or political science qualification with specialisation in eastern Europe or Compliance Management Diploma in addition to a University degree
• in-depth experience of due-diligence reviews in the CEE market : min of 2 years experience in a similar role with a financial institution
• fluency in at least 3 Eastern Europe languages including Russian and fluency in English, preferably also in German
• able to work as part of a team
• good knowledge of Swiss banking regulatory requirements( CDB, MLO, etc)
• strong analysis and research skills with excellent written and oral communication skills
For all the positions CH, B or C permit and SWISS residence mandatory.
