Our client, an Independent Trust Company , has a position in Geneva and Zürich
for a
Business Development Manager
The role : promote pro-actively the company’s corporate trust and specialized
services within the defined business area
His/her responsibilities:
- Create new business for the global group offices
- Maintain, expand and accelerate the intake of new clients and transactions
- Work in close cooperation with the company’s offices around the world
- Manage own portfolio of clients and have specific targets
Manage compliance issues ( KYC etc ) - Establish marketing plans
- Make presentations to clients, intermediaries, private equity firms and financial institutions
Requirements and skills :
- Fluent English and French. For the position in Zürich fluent English and good German
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in a similar commercial ( fiscal/law) background
- Experience in trust or tax/law/audit company
- STEP qualified or similar recognized certification
- Academic background with a degree in Economics, Accountancy or Law
- Very good knowledge of the Trust Business and corporate , funds and private banking industry
- Seek out new opportunities
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- At ease with client meetings and events
- Be “ entrepreneurial ” and have a “can-do ” attitude
